Many people around the world suffer from hunger. They live in squatters area and the members of the family don’t have job. These cause a country to have unproductive market because most of the investors look for those countries who can handle their countrymen specially those less fortunate.

When I was walking aroud the road, there is this man went to my front and asking money from me. His clothes were full of dust and his skin were dark maybe because of dust also. He was not wearing slippers and telling me that he doesn’t yet eaten food that day. I get pity to the man and I treat him at the nearest canteen. I bought him food to satisfy his hunger and bought him also slippers which were bargained at a store. He then thanked me for the food and slippers I gave. I am so thankful that I live in a normal life and can eat food without asking it from anybody.

I am busy doing my homework and listening with my mp3 when someone knocked the door. First I ignore it pretending that I hear nothing but the knocks keep on coming. I have decided to stop first what am I doing and open the door and see whose the person behind the knocks.

It was three o’clock in the afternoon when I heared the knock. And when I opened the door to see who was knocking, I was shocked and jump for joy when I see my father standing on our door and smiling. I hugged him very tight for I have missed him so much. My father was came from middle east to work and earn money for us. The last time I have met him was when I am eight years old and now I am fifteen. When my mother saw dad, she cried and hugged him too. I can see through the eyes of my mom that she really missed my dad.

I have worked for about ten years on other country. They say that it is better to work abroad than in my country  because there are more opportunities and higher wages. So I have tried working abroad and luckily, I found a job where I have worked for ten long years.

Now, I am planning to have a vacation on my hometown. I missed my hometown so much. Though living abroad is good, living in my hometown is since I was born and grew up there. I have called my father about my plan of going home and he approved it. My mom got excited when she heard the news and told me that she would prepare my favorite meals when Im home.

My papers were now prepared and I am going to my home town next two days. There might be changes happened within ten years but being with my family is the best thing could happen.

Most of the people nowadays do good for the thought of getting a reward for what they have done. Still, we can encounter those people who were not asking anything in exchange of their doings. One of those people is my best friend.

My bestfriend came from a poor family. His father passed away since he was young and his mother was sicked when he was second year college. Due to lack of financial assistance, my bestfriend choose to work early to support the studies of his two siblings. He was the oldest among in the family and since his mom can’t work anymore, he get the responsibility on taking good care on his family. He works as a janitor of a convenient store. He’s earning minimum but he can still support his family. Then one time he saw a wallet with ten thousand dollars and credit cards on his working place.Instead of keeping the wallet and use the money to support his family, he rather choose to give it back to the owner. The owner of the wallet was so thankful for the kindness of my bestfriend and giving one thousand dollars but my bestfriend refused and said that give it to the less fortunate.

When the management of the convenient store heared about the news, they gave my bestfriend incentives and promoted him on higher position.

Sports can be one form of exercise. Basketball, volleyball or swimming can maintain the good health of an individual as long as he’s doing it regularly and within at least thirty minutes.

I play basketball regularly. It is my sport since I’m in high school. For the reason of being tall, my father joined me to basketball lectures and workshops during my vacation. I am a regular member of our varsity team in high school and their star player. I can balance my studies and sports so I’m getting support from my parents. They say that they were proud of me that’s why I continue to study hard and to play well. One of my most unforgettable experience in high school is when we won the championship in our province. We compete with other private and public school in our province and luckily, we get through the championship and won it. That game was very unforgettable because I have made the shot that made our team won.

I am taking up a bachelor degree now and I can’t play basketball because I’m focused on my sutdies. At least, I have an experience to be the reason of winning a game and it makes me happy.

For an elementary student, having many friends is normal but having a friend since then until you reached legal age is a gift from the Almighty. Few are those person who have chosen to be your friend even if you were not schoolmates.

I have this friend of mine who was so talkative when we were studying at primary level. When I go to school, she was the one who greet me a good morning everyday. During class discussion, she participated actively but sometimes, our teacher were scolding her for talking so loud and talking too much. I feel comfortable whenever she’s there because she always making ways to make us laugh and be happy. But after graduated elementary, we didn’t have communication.

After several years, walking on the road I have heard someone called me by my name. When I looked where the voice were coming from, I saw a lady who was so pretty to the point that everybody in that place were staring at her. I asked her gently if I knew her and she told me that she was my classmate in elementary. She was changed from a little talkative girl to a pretty lady. Many things really change from time to time.
